Cathy Reay is a journalist and writer based near London. She has written for the Guardian, Glamour, the i paper and appeared on local and national TV and radio discussing disability politics, pop culture and motherhood.

She’s a single and solo mum of two, and identifies as polyamorous and queer. Reay has written chapters in books including We’ve Got This: Essays by Disabled Parents by Eliza Hull, No Offence, But…:  How to Have Difficult Conversations for Meaningful Change by Gina Martin, and Everyday Action, Everyday Change: Stay Positive and Motivated in the Fight Against Racism and Prejudice by Natalie and Naomi Evans. She is currently writing her first book, a non-fiction on growing comfortable in your disabled identity, for 9 to 12-year-olds.
