Poetry Responses to Henry Wallis’ Chatterton

Anthony Anaxagorou, Theresa Lola, Keith Jarrett, Fran Lock and Chris McCabe each wrote a poem in response to Henry Wallis’ famous painting of Thomas Chatterton, to mark the 250th anniversary of the death of the Bristol poet and writer. The poems were filmed beside the painting during its loan from Tate to RWA Bristol in October 2020.
